Some very intense information design going on at FiveThirtyEight, a statistical analysis website that most (liberal) Americans turn to for political predictions. I especially like the interactive forecast timeline—you can see when pivotal moments occurred in each of their campaigns.

While prepping for Wednesday’s workshop I came across this in-depth explanation of the new SFMOMA logo and brand identity. I think the design is very successful, but even more interesting/relevant is the article explaining the process and inspiration—a really cool example of research and development in a professional context! The video at the beginning also has an animated section that reminds me of our gif-making the other week.
