Be put up quickly, and should be able to stay for a while / as long as possible

Go and see the sites and decide what we think would be an interesting installation.

-receiving news via Facebook; changes hierarchy of what is important and what is displayed: dictated by algorithms.

how do we DECONSTRUCT the digital worlds

-evidence should be corroborated through three sources

digital literacy becomes an issue because most of our information comes through a digital source- should we be reading that as fact/ at face value

interface between digital reality and real world reality

-online presence

Pre-digital era there was only your physical body as identity (biography), post-digital we take on more than one “body” is this a “post-human” era?

connecting with other people, decoding events and companies collecting media (no longer passive consumers)

– party phone lines before meant people were forced to share a phoneline- now we chose to communicate together and in groups.

-facebook started at Harvard University as people trying to connect / work out real possible relationships.

-companies do the same thing – Starbucks/ McDonalds is something familiar, do these places create a virtual reality also. Globalised reality.
